Memphis Dulcimer Gathering


The Memphis Dulcimer Gathering is held annually in Memphis, TN. This two day event features mountain dulcimer workshops and hammered dulcimer workshops.

The Memphis Dulcimer Gathering, Inc., works to provide a venue for instruction on playing the mountain dulcimer, as well as other folk instruments, and to educate the public about folk music and folk lore.

MDG, Inc., is dedicated to promoting dulcimer and folk music through workshops, lectures, performances and an annual festival.
