• Big South Fork Spring Planting Festival
• Railroad Rendezvous Springfest - Features events in and around Cookeville Depot and historic westside downtown. Includes activities, contests, food, live music, train rides, and collectibles. Voted at Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society.
• Smoky Mountain Springfest - During the three-month Smoky Mountain Springfest celebration that begins in March and continues through the second week in June, visitors witness the Smoky Mountain area transformation into spring when city streets overflow with baskets of beautiful blooming flowers and plants. Pansies, daffodils, tulips, mandevillas, bougainvilleas, lantanas, scaveolas and wave petunias are among the many varieties of flowers seen throughout Pigeon Forge.
• Spring Blooms at Rock City - Late March-May...Enjoy Spring in bloom at Rock City - you won't want to miss our 3,000 tulips! Walk through the Enchanted Trail in full bloom. Enjoy Hosta, Trumpet Lilies, Common Sweetshrub, Abelia, Red Buckeye, Phlox, Bluebells, Penstemon, Clematis, Azalea, Mahonia, Yucca, Mountain Laurel: Olympic Fire, and Nipmuck, Nandina, Rhododendron: Catawba, Roseum Elegans, Nova Zembla, Parson's Gloriosum, and 86 other varieties of flowering plants and shrubs.
Townsend in the Smokies Spring Festival - Held the last weekend in May and continuing through the first week in May, Townsend in the Smokies Spring Festival features Appalachian demonstration of lye soap making, bee hive observation, heirloom spinning, homespun toys, cornmeal making, mountain berry basket making, and poetry. All day pony rides are offered. Arts and crafts demonstrations include quilting, woodcarving, and wildflowers.
