Tennessee Adventure Treks
Adventure trek camps in Tennessee provide groups an opportunity to experience adventure programming including backpacking and backcountry camping, technical rock climbing, rappelling, canoeing / kayaking, whitewater rafting, and more.
• Smoky Mountain Adventure Camp - Nestled in the foothills of Eastern Tennessee, and literally a stones throw away from Great Smoky Mountains National Park, SMAC takes advantage of the surrounding environment to provide boys and girls ages 8-18 summer adventures. Adventures include: Back country hikes, biking, caving, rappelling, rock climbing, challenge courses, rafting, tubing, horseback riding, overnight canoe trips, overnight backpacking expeditions, and much more. Will customize an adventure session for a weekend or longer for any age group.
• Smoky Mountain Llama Treks - Enjoy hiking spectacular, scenic trails in the Smoky Mountains - Llama Trekking with professionally-trained, friendly, fluffy pack-llamas.
• The Adventure Guild - Ropes course programs, ropes course, climbing wall, adventure center or zipline construction, facilitator training / certification, program gear supply, guided rock climbing and instruction, caving, corporate team building, faith-based adventures, or custom adventure-based camps and retreats.
• YMCA Camp Ocoee - Choose from various camp options that focus on a specific activity or adventure.Campers will attend either one week or two week adventure programs. Usually on the first day, campers will stay in camp learning and perfecting skills as well as enjoying regular camp activities. Campers then travel to the various climbing, white water and mountain biking areas across the nation. Most of the adventures are located in southeastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina, but two treks will take teens out to Missouri, Arkansas, southern Georgia and the South Carolina coast. Skilled and qualified instructors lead all camps. |
